What we collect, and what we do with it.
Bathman Refinishing is a bathtub refinishing and repair business serving Metro Atlanta and beyond. This page describes what the estimate form on this site collects, why, and how to have it removed. It is written to describe what the site actually does — nothing more.
What the estimate form collects
When you submit the form, we receive only what you type into it:
- Your name and phone number — required, because a quote is delivered by phone or text.
- Your email address — optional. Leave it blank and the form still works.
- Your ZIP code — required, so we can tell you whether you are in the service area before anything else.
- The service you selected and anything you wrote in the message box.
- Any photos you attach — optional, up to five. Photos are resized in your own browser before they are sent, so the original file on your phone never leaves it.
The form also records the date, your browser's user-agent string and the network address the request came from. These are used to stop automated abuse of the form and for nothing else.
Why we collect it, and what we do with it
One purpose: to price your job and get back to you about it. Your submission is emailed to Bathman Refinishing so the work can be quoted. That is the whole of it.
We do not sell your information, rent it, or share it with lead brokers, advertisers or any other refinishing company. We do not use it to build an advertising profile of you.
How we will contact you
By submitting the form you are asking us to get in touch about your estimate, and we will reply by phone call, text message or email using the details you gave. These are replies to your own enquiry, sent by a person — this is not a marketing list, there is no autodialer, and you will not be added to a recurring campaign. Standard message and data rates from your carrier may apply to a text. Reply STOP to any text, or say so on the phone, and we will stop contacting you.
Who else can see it
We keep the number of parties as small as we practically can:
- Our email provider carries the message containing your enquiry and any photos to Bathman Refinishing, in the same way any email provider carries mail.
- Our hosting provider runs the server this site is served from.
- Google Fonts serves the two typefaces this page uses, which means your browser makes a request to Google when the page loads. That request is made by every visitor, whether or not the form is used.
- Yelp supplies the review rating shown on the home page. That figure is fetched by our server, not by your browser — Yelp is not sent anything about you, and no Yelp code runs on this site.
We will also disclose information if we are legally required to.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no cookies and uses no third-party analytics or advertising trackers. There is no Google Analytics, no advertising pixel, and nothing that follows you to other websites. We count anonymous totals — how many people called, texted, or sent the form — with no identifier of any kind attached, so the counts cannot be tied back to you or to each other.
How long we keep it
Your enquiry stays in the business's email so the job can be quoted and, if you hire us, so there is a record of the work. Submissions held on the server itself are transient and are not retained as a long-term database. Ask us to delete your details and we will.
Your choices
You can ask us at any time to tell you what we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to stop contacting you. Call or text 678-BATHMAN (678-228-4626) and say so — there is no form to fill in for this, and we will not ask you why.
This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Changes to this page
If this policy changes, the date below changes with it. Substantive changes will not be applied retroactively to information already collected.
